Lake Nembia and its azure water. On their vertical or overhanging rock faces of grey compact limestone several routes grading 7 and 6a/b are to be found. The cliff (838 m above sea level) looking EASTWARDS is ideal for climbing in spring and autumn, as well as on summer afternoons.
San Lorenzo in Banale: Matching any Climbing Ability
"Parco degli Scoiattoli" is your
climbing address in
San Lorenzo in Banale. Besides the cliffs, the climbing area in the part of the town called "Promeghin" features a quiet park and peculiar rock characteristics. The cliff with several routes rating III to IX is looking in north-western direction, a perfect climbing situation even in the summer, as the wall is shaded from the sun until about 4 p.m..
A larch thicket surrounds the cliff, where you can also find some clearings with tables and benches. Your children will have great fun by
climbing in
San Lorenzo in Banale, too: on the lower rocks there are some very short and easy routes ideally suited for both children and absolute beginners.
